Make sure your next bottle of whiskey is really whiskey. A recent article in the Mirror (UK) tells about a 39-year old Liverpool (UK) man who used cold PG Tips tips to swindle 800 stores out of approximately £16,000 (about $30,000).
The man would dupe stores into switching bottles of Jack Daniels whisky. Customers would buy Jack Daniels only to find it was filled with cold PG Tips.
The man plead quilty to 5 charges of fraud. After being sentenced, he will serve his time and then deported from the UK.
