For residents of the UK, Unilever has partnered with Recyclebank to encourage recycling. UK residents can visit the Recyclebank website or PG Tips Facebook page to get more info about recycling and find locations where they can recycle tea bags.
Every year 370,000 tons of tea bags are sent to landfills every year (in the UK). Previously in the US, Unilever ran recylcing campaigns around Dove, Hellmann’s, Suave and Lipton.
