Unilever, the makers of PG Tips Tea, is helping tea growers in Turkey to grow better tea.
Turkey is both the 4th largest market for tea and the 5th largest tea grower in the world. It will become the first country where tea drinkers can buy tea from local farms certified by the Rainforest Alliance. Over 15,000 tea growers in Turkey are being taught practices in sustainable farming.
