We all know that PG Tips have been GREEN and RED since day 1. And now, they are thinking how can they be even GREENER.
With their mission, PG Tips has been a great example when it comes to sustainability and not just falling into the “woke-washing” category for not practising what they preach.
Last year, they announced that all their tea bags were going to be bio-degradable and free from synthetic materials to cut down on plastic pollution. A simple and meaningful message, wherein they already produced 1 billion fully plant-based tea bags.
Unilever, the company that owns PG Tips, has announced several new commitments to greatly improve its sustainability by 2025.
These commitments include cutting down their use of plastic packaging by more than 100,000 tonnes while increasing its use of plastic that is recyclable.
