Arthur Brooke, the founder of PG Tips, was born at 6 George Street in Ashton-under-Lyne in Greater Manchester in England. Today, the home is now a pub. But, if you look closely at the picture of the pub below, you can see the historical plaque located on the wall of the pub underneath the Guinness sign.
